This NOAA Radio has become a permanent part of my emergency kit. The hand crank and solar panel mean I never worry about batteries, and the 2200mAh lithium battery holds a charge well. I tested the USB port on my phone and it worked fine. AM/FM/SW/NOAA reception is clear, and the 7-channel weather plus siren alert give real peace of mind. The integrated clip is handy for hanging it in a tent. The micro USB cable is included, though you need your own AC adapter for wall charging. Solid, water resistant, and genuinely useful.
