Product Details Reviews (1)

Desert Tan MAXTRAX are the choice of Special Forces units in desert combat. Between the military-inspired color and the hard to identify shape, they blend perfectly into your surroundings: including sand, where you’ll want to use your included Tell Tale leashes to quickly recover your MAXTRAX.

I picked up the MAXTRAX MKII Desert Tan Recovery Boards for desert trips and they've already earned their keep. The military-inspired tan blends right into sand, which is exactly the point, and the included Tell Tale leashes make it easy to find and recover them after a stuck moment. They're sold in a pair, so you're set from the start. Solid, purpose-built gear — the kind of thing Special Forces units apparently rely on for desert combat. No complaints so far.
