Picked up the MAXTRAX XTREME Black pair after getting stuck in soft sand more than once. The engineering-grade reinforced Nylon feels seriously tough, and the 88 replaceable anodized alloy teeth molded into the track give real bite when you need traction. Being sold as a pair is handy since you usually want both wheels supported. They are heavy-duty rather than light, but that is the trade-off for the build. So far they have done exactly what recovery boards should do, and knowing the teeth are replaceable is a nice long-term bonus.
