Picked up the MAXTRAX Xtreme Olive Drab boards after getting stuck in soft sand more than once. The 88 replaceable anodized alloy teeth really bite, and the reinforced Nylon body feels seriously tough under a loaded 4WD. They're sold as a pair, which is what you want for a proper recovery setup. I like that the teeth can be replaced instead of buying new boards. Not the cheapest option out there, but they've already earned their place in my kit. Good for sand, mud and snow.
